This is gonna be a rather long one so just bear with me. Hehe! So let's get started!

MAC Blot Powder/Pressed (Medium Dark)

I am well aware that I have very oily skin and my skin gets a little greasy when I'm outside and the shine can be rather obvious. I no longer use blotting papers now & most of the time I'll use a facial tissue to remove the oil. I noticed that by pressing the blotting/tissue paper against your skin will only allow the oil to be further penetrated and absorbed into your skin. Therefore, i found a better alternative to get that shine away by getting MAC's Blot Powder. It helps to absorb the oil on your skin, keeping it shine-free!

MAC Studio Finish Concealer (NC35)

My usual concealer has ran out and it's a pity that i'm not able to use NYX's concealer which i got the previous time since the shade is too dark for my skin. So i tweeted the other day, asking which concealer is the best & most affordable one. I got a lot of feedbacks from fellow friends (thanks guys!) & they were telling me about the good concealers that they've tried. So after giving it a serious thought & watching A LOT of reviews on youtube, and of course with the help of my lovely cousin Fiza, (thanks babe!) I've decided to settle on MAC's Studio Finish Concealer. I've used it a couple of times now, I'm still in the midst of trying to get used to this product.

Urban Decay Primer Potion - UDPP (Original)

I almost ran out of mine, which i got slightly more than a year ago. This product is LOVE <3!! It helps my eyeshadows & eyeliners stay in place & it avoids any smudging & creasing as well! Without fail, I'll use this every single time i have my eye makeup on. The new packaging is what makes me excited the most! The nozzle-tip is much much better than the wand (from the old packaging). You can control the amount of product you want to use just by squeezing the tube. Awesome stuff here.

Urban Decay Primer Potion - Old Packaging

The left image is the old packaging (which totally sucks, big time!) I wasn't able to get all of the product out when i used the wand. So i tried to break the packaging into half (i had a hard time ok!) and de-potted the remaining product into a container. Look at how much product was left! If i didn't break that thing into two, i could've thrown that much product into the bin!!! Terrible!

Maybelline Unstoppable Curly Extension Mascara (Curly Black)

My all-time favourite mascara, apart from the Maybelline's Magnum Volum' Express. I haven't bought this in a while. So i've decided to get it this time round and I'm still lovin' it! The wand is pretty small, which can be good, Because it makes application at the inner & outer corners of the lashes easier.

Laneige Lip & Eye Makeup Cleanser - Waterproof

I'm only left with 1/4 with my first bottle & I dropped by the counter the other day and got a backup. Getting a second bottle means that I really love this product a lot. =)

Acnes Clear and White Wash

I came across this product while reading CLEO the other day. The review said that it's a pretty good facial wash. It's a mild wash that has soothing ingredients that helps to lighting skin tone and stop acne condition from deteriorating. I NEED those!! keeping my skin acne-free & also to whiten and brighten up my skin. I'm too dark la. hahahaha!

OXY 10

I can never live without this. I've tried a lot of different kinds of Acne cream and by far, this works the best. Well, for me at least.

Put that aside, let's move on to hair products.

Braun Satin.Hair 3 Hair Dryer

I got a new hair dryer since the current one is already very old. Comes in 3 different dryer speeds. It's specifically designed to prevent hair from getting entangled to avoid hair breakage. It also has optimum heat distribution,preventing hot spots and dry outs.

Braun Satin.Hair IonTec Hair Straightener

Before i got this, i have 2 other straightening irons, one from Watsons & the other from VS. Both works okay but i've been wanting to get the one that comes with temperature control and I got this. With minimum temperature of 130*C and maximum temperature of 230*C and 5*C temperature stages, it provides protection to your hair by using accurate heat control depending on your hair structure -

- Fine, Coloured, Bleached (130*C - 160*C)

- Normal (160*C - 175*C)

- Strong, resistant, Professional styling result (175*C - 200*C)

It also comes with IonTec, which helps to protect the health of your hair by restoring moisture balance that usually gets lost during styling with excessive heat.

This can be used not only for straightening purposes, but also to create loose curls and waves,which i normally use it for.

I had decided to dye my hair to touch up on my roots and also to make my hair appear darker. Most of my twitter followers would probably know by now (if they noticed) that for the past one week I've dyed my hair not once, not twice but three times! Yeah, call me crazy by all means. Reason being, i hated how the colours of my hair turned out the first and second time. So i had to continue re-dyeing them again and again. And thankfully, it turned out the way i wanted it to be the third time, Finally. Haha.

That was the result of the first time i dyed my hair. I was very unhappy because it was too light for me.

So I went on and dye for the second time and it was a horror!! The colour appeared brighter and lighter.

Bigen Prominous Colour (Dark Pure Brown)

And so, I went on for the third time and Voila! Finally!! I have dark brown hair now!! Wooohooo!! I didnt have the time to take a picture of my current hair colour. Sorry, hehe.

Shiseido D|HPT Hair Serum

All those hair dyings have made the condition of hair really terrible especially towards the ends. In addition to that, I had also rebonded my hair. Thankfully I only did the top part of my hair if not it'll be worse. So i got that hair serum by Shiseido from the salon that i frequent. It's a little bit pricey for a bottle of 80ml of product. But I'm so happy that i got it. It helps to repair my dry ends, it's ordourless and it makes my hair feels really smooth without leaving it greasy. A very good buy.

Liese Iron Make Collection (Rich Curl)

I've been searching for a heat protectant high and low here in Singapore and Finally!! I found this!!! I have no idea why brands like CHI and some other good brands are unavailable in SG. This is a heat protectant spray that you apply before using any heating tools. It helps your hair from damaging, and adding on to that, it helps to keep your curls stay throughout as well. It also comes in a Blue Bottle that is meant for Rich Straight. If this one works well, I'll get the other one as well!

Side track, let's talk about something totally NOT related to beauty at all. Let's talk about Books! Yess! Books!! hahaha!

Went over to Kinokuniya the other day and i picked up 4 books. I'm sooo excited to read all four of them!

I was attracted by the title of the book. 'Everyone's looking for their Happy ever after' I know i am. hahahaha! i've started reading this book and I'm already a quarter way there. So exciting!!

FAVOURITES OF THE MONTH - MAY

There are just a bunch of products that i've been loving for the past month. So here they are..

MAC Sheer Pressed Powder (NC40)

I know I've just purchased this not long ago but I've been loving it ever since I've tried it for the first time. I also noticed that I've stopped using the rest of my other powders and I think I'm just gonna stick to this one for the next couple of months.

The reasons why i really love this powder is because it feels really light on the skin, and i can just use it without the need of applying any foundation as a base. For days that i prefer to have lighter coverage, i'll just use my concealer to conceal any imperfections and dust this pressed powder all over my face and I'm ready to go.

NYX Concealer in a jar (Green)

This baby here absolutely helps to reduce the redness around my cheek area. I don't need a lot of product to be applied on my face. A little goes a long way and I can foresee that this small jar can definitely last me quite a long time.

Etude House Lip Stain

You would've probably seen this on my previous month's favourite post. Again, I've been using this lip stain almost every single day. Love it so so much. It comes in a gel form which is very moisturizing. The colour seems to be a little too red for some people. That's the reason why I always apply a teeny weeny bit of it and spread it all over my lips. As it dries out, it'll give your lips a natural pretty raspberry-reddish colour, making you look very fresh.

Elf Brush Blush

My current favourite blush brush. It makes application of blusher so easy & the bristles are super soft! Not only that, i can even use the tip of the brush to contour my cheeks. Therefore, in a way, it is 2-1, if that makes any sense. Haha.

Laneige Water Bank Hydro Gel

This is currently the moisturizer that I've been using, for almost 2 months now. It's very smooth on the skin and it does not make my skin greasy at all. and Oh! I LOVE the scent so much!

Vaseline Petroleum Jelly

I think most of us are not aware that there are many different ways that we can use the petroleum jelly.

As for my case, I usually use it for my elbows and knees them moiturized. Plus point, you can get it under 3 bucks!

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs (Light)

This is already my second bottle and i love this one more than the previous one. The first bottle that i got was in Medium, which was a little too dark for my skin tone. This somehow works like a foundation to your legs and it conceals any imperfections like scars and uneven skin tone. It is also water-resistant and it's suitable to have it on while u're doing any water activities.

The Body Shop Body & Leg Shine

This product is LOVE and the scent it too awesome! I remembered that i even licked it after i got it the first time. HAHA! Basically you just have to roll it on to your legs or arms (just like how u do it when applying deodorant) and it'll give your skin a beautiful shine & glow.

Cotton Puff

Got these from Daiso and both of the boxes cost only 2 bucks!! I mainly use these to remove my makeup and also for applying of toner.
