did you guys manage to get a glimpse of the solar esclipse just now??? it was 10mins to 6 when my whole family were sitting in the living room, all facing outside of the window to witness the extraordinary experience. the funny thing was, all four of us were wearing sunglasses coz the sun was shining too brightly. we got all excited when the full moon moved slowly and closer towards the sun and eventually covered almost partially and left a cresent-like shape towards the end. 'Kuasa Allah..'.

but come to think of it, i was wondering how could the moon get in between the sun and the earth, when both the moon and the sun dont rotate or revolve among one another. well, i may be a noob in this, and maybe some of you already know the answer. i think i shall do some research to clear all my doubts. but it's really interesting how all that happened. and baba said that the next eclipse will happen again around 70+ years from now. and only god knows if we could ever witness it again. so, it would be a pity to miss that valuable opportunity.

i even tried to take a picture of it, but the image caught in the picture was nothing, but the briggghhhttt sunray. -__-. i just need a DSLR now! for my birthday present, can? haha. but nontheless, i managed to get some images from my my sis' friend's blog. credits to irfaan, http://irfaanphotography.blogspot.com/ =)

Happy Lunar New Year!!!

supposedly, our family will have to celebrate cny as well. that's because my grandmother is a pure chinese, but it's just that she was raised by a malay family and she has no siblings or whatsoever. wouldnt it be nice to celebrate cny as well,to have chinese relatives and cousins... but wellohwell.

ohya, and i forgot to mention this.
me, kelvin and wailiang were waiting fr the bus to go to school at our usual spot at bukit panjang interchange. i was sitting on the bench and while waiting, i was just looking around and i saw this old chinese lady was squatting right in front of me, on the grass patches.

initially i was wondering what the heck she was doing, squatting in the middle of nowhere. AND TO MY HORROR, SHE WAS URINATING!!! the moment i saw that, i was hoping that wailiang and kelvin wouldnt see it coz it would be too much of an embarrassment. and i think i shall not elaborate further on what i've seen.

so as soon as the lady stood up, pulled up her pants, she WALKED TOWARDS ME!! at first i was thinking that she might scold me for looking at her urinate and i got so scared that i looked away. but instead, she came up to me, asking me for $2 in mandarin. i just shook my head coz i didnt know what she was talking about until kelvin translated to me what she just said.

so from there, i know that she's a bit gila, but ohwells.
ohman. i'm telling the whole world about my experience. but it's damn disgusting, seriously.

i can feel the stress already!!!

i've been going home late quite lately, and i think i might have to continue doing that for the rest of the other 2 weeks. like i said, projects are here, and the due dates are nearing, one after another. One of which will be this morning...and that's the reason why more than half of my classmates are online now...busy doing the 20-pages report, i reckon.

and today, i broke the record of staying in the library for 6hours! coz i've never stayed in the library that long before. and basically, almost the whole class were there. we spent the time in that room doing our work of course, but almost half of it was filled with laughter and jokes among us.
and i hate that librarian for taking my bubble tea. i seriously dont know how the heck she saw my drink when i hid in behind Amy's laptop. tsk!

Spanish test this coming Friday. and i have to say that Spanish is not easy. It is so complicated coz there're masculin and faminine of EVERYTHING! even a chair can be either a guy or a girl.
Korean is obviously much more easier coz i can simply talk and write and communicate without even having the need to attend lessons.

is this my very first entry of 2009? oh, yes it is.
well i know that it has been almost 2 weeks since the new year. many talked about resolutions, blah blah blah. but as for me, i'm not gonna make any this year coz i know that i will never make the effort to follow or try to accomplish them.

i just finished cleaning my room actually coz i just cant stand the messiness. This seems to be the only time that i can clean my room with peace - with the absence of my sister, that is. She's away to mediacorp to support her friend who's in the campus superstar singing competition. go joselin!!

so how has school been? well, like i said, it's only the second week of the new year, and new term, and there are already 3 assignments/projects waiting for me as well as my group members. and speaking of assignment, we got back our PM assignment that was submitted just before the term break and guess what? me and Crystal got A+ !!! HAHAHAHA! we were so damn shocked! the both of us were paired up and we kept procrastinating but the end result was excellent. =)

i do have some pictures that were taken during the store outing to the zoo the other day.. but i'm gonna post them some other days...

and and and!! i've already started watching Hana Yori Dango(korean version). KIM BUM AND HYUN JOONG ARE UBER CUTE & HOTTT!! =)))
